From this page you can import data (routes, waypoints, displays)
on your palm by means of the infrared port.
When you open this page (menu: cPilot/IR import), CompetitionPilot
activates the infrared port and start wayting for data. On some recent
palm units it is possible to import data even
without accessing this page.
Imagine that you want to transfer your display configurations to
a fellow pilot.
On the receiving palm unit, open the Import via IR page
(menu: cPilot/IR import.)
On the transmitting palm, open the Display setup page
(menu: Options/Display setup) and press the
Export button. CompetitionPilot will show you the export page:

Choose infrared from the Destination drop-down menu.
You can ignore the baud-rate, card, and file-name fields.
Align the two palm infrared ports and press the Export
button. When the transfer completes, on the receiving computer
a window will open asking whether you want to accept the data or not.
After confirming, the newly imported configurations will appear in the
display-setup page, ready to be assigned to the flight situations.
